Handmade, small batch ceramics by a Houston artist — crafted for quiet beauty and everyday function in the spaces where you live and work. Favela Ceramics was born out of a deep love for the intensive, grounding process of pottery. I first discovered ceramics in college, but it wasn't until recently that I made the decision to rekindle that passion. Each piece is handmade in small batches, designed to be both functional and decorative. My hope is simple: to create pieces that you reach for every day and genuinely enjoy.

Celebrate the warmth of tradition with this handmade Pan Dulce Inspired Mug, designed to honor the sweet breads we share with family—paired perfectly with a cozy cafecito, champurrado, or atole. Each mug is thrown on the pottery wheel and hand-painted to resemble the familiar shapes and colors of your favorite pan dulce.The handle and select areas of the mug are left unglazed, allowing you to feel the natural texture of the clay. Though bare, the clay is fully vitrified, meaning it’s non-porous and will not absorb moisture.
